SSHS orientation.
I just got back from my orientation. I wish I got a few pics, but irr, I didn't want it to be conspicuous or anything, so oh well. The occurrence lasted for about, let's say an hour and 30 minutes at the Manta Ray Cafe. Surprisingly, there was quite a number of people I didn't expect to actually show up. I thought they were going to Marianas High instead, but unfortunately-there still here. Same shit as always. Anyways, this wasn't my first time at SSHS campus. I've been there a couple of times before, from a small performance-to attending my sister's graduation, etc. So, hence-my eyes were quite familiar with the place. The cafeteria was spacious, as I remembered. A lot of room, but also not as gigantic as I thought it would be. There were several projectors, flat screens, and an actual podium. I gotta admit, I was impressed. This isexactly the kind of school I wanna attend. Very High-tech in deed; plus it's not as over-crowded with students and a lot more closer to home. I guess I can get used to that, right? Anyway, Mr. Garrison, Saipan Southern's Principle, began the orientation by introducing us with himself, and what to expect this coming school year of 2010-2011. He then started on the upcoming projects like Southern having a Swimming pool, Gymnasium and even a small nursing room, if I'm not mistaken. He spoke for about 30 minutes, as he handed the mic over to Mr. Jesse Tudela, SSHS VP, who spoke about Disciplinarian issues and our packet forms. Our counselors were then introduced, as well as STUCO officers. A lady, I'm not sure who, prepared for us a small power point on Thespians, aka, TWPI. I was a bit interested in joining, until my mother had to irk me with me "being timid" and bullshit. I just don't get how parents immediately ruin your dreams like that. LIKE HELLO! In order to overcome "me being timid", then I should probably be joining these kinds of clubs to boast up confidence. Ugh. I almost lost it for awhile, because I couldn't even explain myself for a sec. total crap right there. Thank god it was time to line up for our schedules. Apparently, I'm taking World Geo, English, Environmental Science, and ALGEBRA 1. No P.E this year, suckka:P though it kinda sucks. I don't wanna have to face in the next years, irr! So, i guess that's how it ended. Got our schedules, then left. Unfortunately, i wasnt able to mingle with friends. My mother, as always was in a hurry again. I can't blame her though, she does have work in a hour, so I went back home, and here I am. Gosh, I'm just hoping this year is gonna be better. sigh, first year of highschool, huh? shouldn't be a big deal...well, i guess i'm done here. till later tweeps.
