Kim Ocampo gots talent!

This young girl knows how to rock the right way - representing the CNMI, from the beautiful island of Saipan, Miss Ocampo, 14, has been composing songs ever since she was in the 4th grade. "Being a young musician is great! Getting the support and comments from people makes me proud of my talents," says Ocampo. She is greatly skilled in playing the guitar and the piano as well. Miss Kimberly plans to improve her musical skills because she'd like to open her own band someday. She also stated what inspired her to compose songs,"The people that were there for me, my friends, loved ones, and Mrs. Aldan, who have all been there for me from the start, are my inspiration to composing songs." Though, she later adds that loneliness is another inspiration of hers. "When I'm sad, I create such great songs because all my emotions are revealed and its much easier to compose," she says. Young star hopes to go to Hollywood in the future and hopefully start in the music business.
